Undergraduate Student

Alisha Sankhe

I am an undergraduate student at Rice University, pursuing a B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience as well as a minor in Engineering Design. My research interests range from behavioral pharmacology to engineering medical devices to understanding neuropsychiatric disorders from a clinical perspective. At the Provenza Lab, I look forward to exploring the latter further, especially how DBS can serve as a powerful therapeutic tool for treatment-resistant psychiatric conditions. In my free time, I love to read and make all sorts of art!
