Nikhil Shivakumar, B.S.

Nikhil is currently pursuing his Masters in Computer Science with Specialization in Artificial Intelligence. At Rice, he has worked on research projects in deep learning, computer vision, and natural language processing, including applications in human pose estimation, image classification, and multimodal AI. He has a 3-year experience as a Software Developer where he built data-driven models for sales prediction, demand forecasting, and customer personalization. Nikhil is passionate about the intersection of AI in business and enjoys exploring emerging technologies, startup ecosystems, and the future of human–AI collaboration.
