Rick Hanish, B.S.

I'm a Ph.D. student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University. I received my B.S.E.C.E. from the University of Texas at Austin in 2024, during which I researched machine learning applications to acoustics at the University of Texas Applied Research Laboratories (ARL:UT). During my Ph.D., I intend to continue to apply machine learning techniques to new applications in an attempt to computationally decode neural and psychiatric disorders. Outside of research, I enjoy sports and cooking.
