Royal Bao, BS

I recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Neuroscience. My undergraduate research focused on identifying novel biomarkers and their associations with anxiety-like behaviors in neurodevelopmental disorders using MRI and non-human primate models. I am currently interested in how neurobehavioral and structural-functional aspects of the brain interact, particularly through neuromodulation approaches in neuropsychiatric disorders. At the Provenza Lab, I hope to expand my experience in neuropsychiatric clinical research and further develop my skills in analyzing neuromodulation and neurobehavioral data.
