Reem El Jammal

Ph.D. Student

I am a PhD student in Neuroscience at Baylor College of Medicine with a bachelor degree in biology from the Lebanese University and a masters degree in neuroscience from the American University of Beirut. I worked for three years in an epilepsy lab, focusing on seizure mechanisms and associated cognitive and behavioral deficits in experimental models. My current work uses diffusion MRI and tractography to investigate pathway-level changes in treatment-resistant neuropsychiatric patients, that can help enhance neuromodulation.
